With the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences finally making the choice to establish a stunt design Oscar, which will be presented at the 100th Oscars, we wanted to recommend some of our favorite recent films with phenomenal stunt work.

The dragon breath rounds shootout was the highlight of Chapter 4, agreed by most that has seen the film.

We could recommend numerous Cruise stunts but his bike jump in Dead Reckoning is probably his best!

RRR’s bridge scene stunt would have definitely been in the running if awards were given at the time.

A throwback pick, less for large stunts and more for purely choreographed and phenomenally executed Muay Thai fight scenes from star Tony Jaa in this action freight train.

Kodak & Coogler Presents..

In the promotion for his upcoming film, Sinners, Ryan Coogler has partnered with Kodak breaking down each film format and the different and many ways to view Sinners on the big screen, April 18th.

This quick video is so powerful and has made waves online since releasing. This is what the film industry needs to bring back the magic and love for the craft that has inspired many of us in one way or another.

The cinematic universes are expanding! Hasbro Entertainment and Legendary Entertainment are building up their Magic: The Gathering universe with plans of having ‘Blackberry’ director Matt Johnson helm the initial live-action film.

So far no formal offer has been made yet though he’s the studios’ top choice.

The Denver Nuggets Headed in a New Direction!?

In another shocking twist of events, just 5 games before the end of their season the Denver Nuggets of the NBA has fired head coach Michael Malone and general manager Calvin Booth.

The last few years have been rumored to be ‘indifferent between Booth and Malone for a handful of reasons, it was just about expected for one or the other to be let go this offseason but it looks as upper ownership decided to just get it over with and not sit on it.

Michael Malone just led the Nuggets to an NBA championship in 2023 and is the most winningest coach in franchise history.

The Florida Gators have won the Men’s College Basketball National Championship!

The Gators fought in a nail-biting match against the Houston Cougars, winning 65-63, notching their third National Championship in program history and first since the 06’-07’ Billy Donovan led Florida team with the likes of Al Horford, Joakim Noah, Corey Brewer and more.

The Blue Jays Secure Their Guy! 

The Toronto Blue Jays and star first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr agreed on a 14-year, $500M contract extension which essentially locks Vladdy in as a Blue Jay lifer!
